2019 Year End Joint Meeting GPPB-IATWG
The GPPB and the IATWG conducted its Year-End Joint Meeting last 10 December 2019 at Ayuntamiento de Manila, Bureau of Treasury in Manila.
Part of the agenda for the Year-end Joint meeting is the approval of amendments to the Guidelines on the use of Framework Agreement by all Procuring Entities and updates on the ongoing Assessment of the Philippine Public Procurement System using the Methodology for Assessing Procurement System (MAPS).
MAPS is a government-initiated project funded by the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank to assess and evaluate the procurement capacity and efficiency of National Government Agencies (NGAs), Government-Owned and/or Controlled Corporations (GOCCs), State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and even Local Government Units (LGUs). It was in this meeting that the members of the Assessment Steering Committee were introduced, which include the GPPB-TSO.
The GPPB-TSO also reported its accomplishments for CY 2019 and its proposed Workplan for CY 2020.
