The Government Procurement Policy Board-Technical Support Office (GPPB-TSO), together with the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), conducted the three-day Content Writeshop for the Procurement Track of the Public Financial Management Competency Program (PFMCP) on May 12 to 14, 2026, at the GPPB-TSO office in Quezon City.

The writeshop gathered GPPB Recognized Trainers serving as writers, editors, and subject matter experts to help develop and peer-review learning modules for the revived Procurement Track. The modules cover key areas such as RA No. 12009 or the New Government Procurement Act, the Procurement-to-Payment Cycle and Budget Cycle, Procurement Modalities, Contract Implementation, and Payment Processing.

Through collaborative writing sessions, technical discussions, and peer review, the Recognized Trainers worked toward producing clear, accurate, and stakeholder-responsive learning materials that will help strengthen procurement capacity across government.

This initiative forms part of GPPB-TSO and DBM’s continuing efforts to support procurement education, professional development, and the effective implementation of the New Government Procurement Act.
